ENCHANTED NEW ZEALAND

Mon plus grand voyage. J’ai passé presque 1 an entre 2017 et 2018 en Nouvelle-Zélande. J’y suis allé au départ pour changer d’air de mes 4 ans de vie à Paris où je commançais à me sentir à l’étroit. Ma passion et mon travail dans le cinéma et l’image commençaient à m’emmener sur le terrain de la nature et de l’animalier. Je me suis alors rappelé du tournage de Valérian et la cité des 1000 planètes sur lequel j’avais travaillé l’année passée et des amis néo-zélandais que je m’y suis fais. Cette idée de partir litttéralement aux antipodes a fait son chemin et je suis parti en PVT avec l’idée de parcourir le pays entier. J’ai été époustouflé par la richesse et la diversité des paysages qu’on m’avait vanté et qui s’y trouvent réellement. J’avais l’impression de parcourir la Terre du Milieu où que j’aille. Après quelques mois à travailler à l’Embassy theater de Wellington je me suis acheté une voiture et je suis parti sur les routes épiques de Nouvelle-Zélande me perdre dans ces décors fantastiques. J’avais crée en voyageant une mini série documentaire sur les différents spots d’exception que j’explorais et les éspèces endémique que je rencontrais.

My biggest travel. I spent nearly a year in New Zealand between 2017 and 2018. I went there initially to get a change from my 4 years of living in Paris where I was starting to feel cramped. My passion and my work in cinema and image was dragging me into the realm of nature and wildlife. I then remembered the filming of Valerian and the City of 1000 Planets on which I had worked the year before and the New Zealand friends I made there. This idea of ​​going literally to the antipodes took hold and I decided to get there with a WHV with the idea of ​​traveling the entire country. I was blown away by the richness and diversity of the landscapes that had been praised to me and that are actually there. I felt like I was traveling through Middle Earth wherever I went. After a few months working at the Embassy theater in Wellington I bought myself a car and set off on the epic roads of New Zealand to lose myself in these fantastic landscapes. While traveling, I created a mini documentary series about the exceptional spots that I was exploring and the endemic species that I encountered.
